On February 18, PPX Loyalty members had the exclusive opportunity to attend Ocean Drive magazine’s February “The List” Party in celebration of the Food Network South Beach Wine & Food Festival. Guests enjoyed a fabulous spread of food, wine and cocktails at the Smith & Wollensky Miami Beach location.
Held on National Drink Wine Day, the event was a perfect way to kick off “Catch an Early Flight,” the preview of the 54th National Wine Week. Guests sampled the wines in the special flight, available now through March. It includes Chateau D’ESCLANS “Whispering Angel” Rosé, Sonoma-Cutrer Pinot Noir and J. Lohr Seven Oaks Cabernet Sauvignon.
For those in the mood for a cocktail, Ultimat Vodka was the featured drink with the Ultimat Mule, their version of a Moscow Mule with vodka, ginger beer and fresh lime juice. A Patrón Pineapple and Pyrat Rum Punch were also offered.
Chef Dana Brizee, as always, was over the top with his offerings, including passed Beef Wellington, Lump Crab Cake, Angry Shrimp and Truffle Chicken on Butter Brioche. Guests also enjoyed small plates of Coriander Seared Tuna with Jalapeno Lime Sauce and Pan Roasted Filet Mignon with Mac & Cheese and assorted flat breads, cheeses and charcuterie.
