Taste the awe of autumn with the new Fall Menu from Smith & Wollensky. Available October 16 and through the winter months, this menu will boast an array of quintessential fall and winter flavors met with an innovative steakhouse approach. From unexpected seafood presentations to tender lamb and elegant steak options, the menu is sure to be a draw throughout the chillier months.
“We offer seasonal menu features two times a year, which as Executive Chef, is exciting to me,” said Matt King, National Director of Culinary Development. “The changing of the seasons means a whole new crop of ingredients I get to experiment with on the menu. I’ve incorporated seasonal winter fruits, such as blood orange and pomegranate. And nothing says fall like butternut squash—we are introducing a new side dish of roasted butternut squash slices atop spinach cheese fondue with crispy fried shallots.”
The fall menu features a Grilled Wild Shrimp appetizer served on a bed of blood orange & ginger reduction with green apple fennel slaw. New main courses include Roast Rack of Lamb, served on bed of roasted carrots, green beans and fingerling potatoes with a lamb bone demi-glace. And since October is National Seafood and Pork Month, what better way to celebrate than with the Pork Chop & Beans, a double cut Berkshire pork chop with chorizo, baked beans and sweet potatoes or the Wasabi Crusted Tuna served with bok choy, baby carrots and pomegranate black garlic sauce.
Steak and seafood also receive special fall treatment with the Scallops & Cider Prime Beef, featuring seared scallops served on a bed of pulled braised beef, sautéed with butternut squash, oyster mushrooms and caramelized leeks – garnished with a spinach and bleu cheese fondue.
Remaining on the menu due to overwhelming popularity is the Coffee & Cocoa Rubbed Filet, rubbed with coffee and cocoa then charbroiled and topped with ancho chili butter and crispy angry onions.
Guests can also stir up the fun with our premium cocktails and unique mixology drinks. From an Old Fashioned to a Pear Ginger Martini, Smith & Wollensky knows how to mix it well.
The new seasonal menu features complement the classic Smith & Wollensky menu and are offered daily for both lunch and dinner at each of the nine locations, with the exception of the New York City location.
